Scientific Name: Dimorphotheca aurantiaca
"The Daisy African Cape Marigold, 'Dimorphotheca aurantiaca', should be called "Goddess of the Sun" for flowers that reflect the beauty and the burning color of the sun. The 1 1/2 inch wide flowers close at night, in the shade, and during cloud cover. The flowers are colored in shades of orange and yellow. This plant is excellent for naturalized areas and as ground cover for large areas. It is also great for parking strips, borders, large pots and tubs."
