"The Bergenia æBressingham RubyÝ, a Blooms of Bressingham plant, also known at Bergenia Pigsqueak or Heartleaf, is a popular ground cover that is great for weed-smothering. Being a vigorous spreader, it is great in rock gardens or as a border plant. The paddle-shaped leaves turn burgundy in cold weather with short clusters of pink flowers on stout stems. It has a plant height of 14ö and a spread of 12ö wide. Try planting Bergenia æBressingham RubyÝ with Japanese Painted Fern or Pulmonairia æMrs. MoonÝ. It is definitely a perennial that should not be left out of any garden."
